An overturned trailer has traffic backed up for miles along a stretch of Interstate 75 in Marion County as of Thursday afternoon.

According to FL511.com, the crash took place around 3:46 p.m. near mile marker 342 on southbound I-75.

Although there are currently no details available regarding the accident, video on the website shows that traffic is backed up for several miles.

According to FL511.com, the slowdown stretches back to at least mile marker 346 as of 4:30 p.m.

A motorist driving through the scene said a white pickup truck that was allegedly towing the trailer was situated a short distance from the trailer. That motorist said congestion cleared up after mile marker 342.
