A multi-vehicle accident on I-75 in Marion County is causing major congestion along the highway, with the state reporting that traffic is backed up for over 10 miles in the northbound lanes.

According to FL511.com, the multi-vehicle crash took place around mile marker 354 in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 just before 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

“Left shoulder blocked. Last updated at 06:17 PM. Road Ranger Ahead. Move Over or Slow Down,” reads a statement from FL511.com.

Currently, there is traffic congestion stretching back to at least mile marker 342, according to FL511.com.
