Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed three new members to the Early Learning Coalition of Marion County.

On Friday, October 18, Governor DeSantis announced that Todd Panzer – owner and Nurse Practitioner for Panzer Concierge Medicine – has been appointed as chairman of the Early Learning Coalition of Marion County (ELCMC). He previously served as the coalition’s acting chair.

Panzer earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Brenau University and his master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Georgia.

The second new ELCMC member appointed by the governor is Ocala resident Lola Gonzalez. The Chief Executive Officer and Senior Investigator for Accurate Background Check, Inc., Gonzalez currently serves as the chairwoman of the Heart of Florida Health Center.

Thanks to Governor DeSantis, the third newest member to join ELCMC is Brittney Morley, the owner and broker of Ocala’s Finest Real Estate Agency. The recipient of the coalition’s Certification of Appreciation, Morley is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in business from the College of Central Florida.

The Early Learning Coalition of Marion County provides leadership and foster partnerships to optimize a quality early learning environment for local children through child care, voluntary pre-kindergarten, and parent education, according to the nonprofit organization’s website.
