Construction began earlier this month on a new Advance Auto Parts in southwest Ocala.
Crews are currently clearing the site at 187 Marion Oaks Boulevard, next to a Family Dollar store.
A building permit was issued to Park & Eleazer Construction, LLC, on October 2 to begin construction of the new retail store, which is across from the Marion Oaks Shopping Center.
Located at 187 Marion Oaks Boulevard, the site is situated next to a Family Dollar store.
According to property records, the parcel was sold by Marco Polo Builders, Inc. to Cahaba Capital Group, LLC for $250,000 in May. Cahaba Capital Group, LLC, is an Alabama-based commercial real estate firm registered to Tyler Bradford.
Marco Polo Builders, Inc., which is registered to Katica Pavicic, has sold multiple problems in southwest Ocala recently, including a 49.35-acre parcel for $5,700,000 on October 11.
Excluding the new store, there are seven Advance Auto Parts locations across the city of Ocala. The new location is situated about nine to ten miles from the chain’s stores at 9580 SW State Road 200 in Ocala and 5003 SE Abshier Boulevard in Belleview.
The site is situated across from the Marion Oaks Shopping Center, where the anchor Winn-Dixie will be converted into an ALDI grocery store.
