To the Editor:
It would definitely benefit not only the people of the Ocala area, but also the corporations, if both Costco and/or BJ’s would consider a facility in our area. With our population most certainly increasing on a day to day basis, Sam’s Club here is such a congested area that people are waiting out on State Route 200 to fill up vehicles with gas. This, in turn, causes traffic to be backed up and more difficult to navigate that area. It has only gotten worse with the increase in population coming to this area.
It would truly be beneficial to these corporations to highly consider constructing new business ventures here in Ocala. I came from Ohio and I had memberships to all three of these facilities. I liked the opportunity to shop the different stores and to get a variety of products. This would also create employment opportunities which would also be beneficial to the raising increase of population being drawn to the Ocala area.
I hope that our local elected officials will pursue these corporations to join our growing community.
