A music festival that drew tens of thousands of fans this summer just announced that it will return to the Ocala area next year.

Rock The Country will return to the Ocala area on Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10, 2025.

Billed as “a festival for We The People,” concert organizers say the series will visit “10 small towns” and put on “10 massive shows” in 2025.

Although last year’s festival took place in Reddick, organizers have not yet announced the venue for next year’s Rock The Country.

The next concert series will kick off in Louisiana on April 4 and April 5, 2025. Additional stops include Knoxville, Tennessee; Ashland, Kentucky; and Anderson, South Carolina.

Most of the towns are located in the southeast and the concert in Ocala is the only stop in Florida.

Over 30,000 fans attended the first Rock The Country in the area, which took place on June 7 and June 8, 2024.

The inaugural two-day festival was headlined by Kid Rock and Jason Aldean and featured a star-studded slate of musical performing artists.

After his headlining performance, Aldean said the area still held a “special place” in his heart.

“I cut my teeth playin the Stillwater’s Saloon in Ocala back in the mid/late 90s. That town will always hold a special place in my heart. It was really cool to come back all these years later and you guys show up for us like you did,” said Aldean, referring to the “30,000 strong” that attended the event.

“Thanks for having us back and for all the good times! Drink one for me, Ocala,” said Aldean.

In addition to last year’s headliners, Rock The Country 2024 also featured performances by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Travis Tritt, and Trippp, among others.

Event organizers have not yet released the lineup for the 2025 concert series, according to the Rock The Country website.
