Police officers are looking for an individual who allegedly failed to pay for their car ride from Ocala to Sanford, which cost over $200.

According to the Sanford Police Department, an unidentified customer requested a ride from Ocala to Windridge Circle in Sanford on Friday, November 1.

While heading to the destination, the customer asked for the driver to stop at a Shell gas station to “use the restroom.” Upon arrival at the gas station, the customer exited the vehicle and went into the convenience store.

The police department states that the customer never returned to the vehicle to pay the $220 fare. No further details were provided regarding the incident or the ride-sharing service that the customer used.
