Vincent A. Gaudio, 66, died on Friday, November 15, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born into this life on September 27, 1958 in Providence, Rhode Island. Vincent graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science and later received his Bachelors of Arts degree majoring in chemistry from Rhode Island College. While Vincent was in college he started working as a Lab Tech at American Hoechst in Rhode Island.
He and his wife Connie were married for thirty two years. They have two children, Joshua and Michelle Gaudio. As a family man, he worked in various industries throughout his career in different states before settling in Brooksville, FL where he retired from American Injectables. He was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7027 with the Parish of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Milton, FL.
Vincent was a former member of St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church in Brooksville and recently moved with his family to Dunnellon, FL, becoming parishioners of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Vincent was an outdoorsman who loved to golf, going to the shooting range and deep sea fishing. He also enjoyed music particularly the guitar which he started playing as a young man. Vincent was a generous man especially to those in need. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and his many friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Angelo Gaudio; his brother in law, Richard Soltysiak and his father and mother in-law, Guilherme & Alzira Silva.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 32yrs., Connie Gaudio, Dunnellon; his children, Joshua and Michelle Gaudio, Dunnellon; his mother, Marie Gaudio, Cranston, RI; his three sisters, Elizabeth Soltysiak, Warwick RI, Margaret Gaudio, Cranston, RI and Angela Gaudio, Palm City, FL; his two nephews and one niece; and many cousins and in-laws.
