The Rotary clubs of Marion County will race over 5,000 rubber ducks on Lake Tuscawilla this weekend to raise money for the Discovery Center and local charities.
The Duck Derby will take place on Saturday, January 18, starting at 11 a.m. the duck race is at 2 p.m.
Adopt a duck for just $5 or adopt 5 and get one free. Free hot dogs with each adoption. Prizes for winners will be first place $2,000, second place $1,500, third place $750, fourth place $450, plus 3 drawings for $250 each.
Proceeds from duck adoption benefit the Discovery Center, as well as other charities supported by the Rotary clubs of Marion County.
