Blaselma Fogarty-Williams, a loving mother, sister, and devoted nurse, peacefully transitioned surrounded by her family on January 16, 2025, in Ocala, Florida.
Born on November 2, 1945, in Riversdale, St. Catherine, Jamaica, she was the first of three daughters to Iona and Leopold Rose. Blossom’s life was defined by her unwavering commitment to her family and her career as a nurse, where she touched the lives of many with her compassion and dedication. She was the matriarch of her family, offering strength, love, and guidance to all who knew her. Blossom’s legacy of love, service, kindness, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.
Blossom leaves to mourn her daughter, Veronica Broderick, stepchildren, sisters Ina McCormack and Andrea Henry, and brother Clifford Duffus. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Laurel and niece Charmaine Marr. Blossom also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends all of whom she held dear.
She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, whose kindness and nurturing spirit touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.
