The city will host its second annual bluegrass music festival this weekend with several nationally known bands and food trucks.

The second annual Brick City Bluegrass Festival will take place on Saturday, February 1, at Citizens’ Circle (151 SE Osceola Ave.) from 1 to 7 p.m.

The all-ages, outdoor music festival will feature nationally known and local bluegrass bands, including The Wandering Hours, Unspoken Tradition, East Nash Grass, Pert Near Sandstone, and Arkansauce.

The full event schedule is as follows:

1 p.m. – Gates open.

1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. – The Wandering Hours.

2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. – Unspoken Tradition.

3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. – East Nash Grass.

4 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. – Pert Near Sandstone.

5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Arkansauce.

In addition to live music and entertainment, the Brick City Bluegrass Festival will feature a variety of food trucks, including The Krafty Kettle, Royal Hibachi, Brick & Ember Pizza, Country Boyz BBQ, and Tammy’s Cup of Sunshine. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase.

Festival attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Coolers will not be permitted inside the event area.

Tickets currently cost $25 per person, and this price will remain in effect through Friday, January 31. On the day of the event, tickets can be purchased at the gate for $30 per person, and they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the event sells out.

Veterans and children (ages 8 and under) will be able to attend the festival for free.
