The lead singers of Nickelback gave a brief shout out to Ocala during a promotional advertisement for their upcoming concert in Marion County.
Chad Kroeger and Ryan Peake, the lead singer and guitarist that comprise two-fourths of Nickelback, posted the promo to social media in mid-January.
“We’re coming to see you in Ocala, Florida, this May,” said Kroeger in the brief video.
“Tickets on sale now at RockTheCountry.com. See you there,” said Peake.

Rock The Country will return to Ocala this Spring. The second installment of the event will take place at the Florida Horse Park in Ocala on May 9 and May 10, 2025.
The first event, which took place last June, saw over 30,000 fans in attendance. The two-day festival was headlined by Kid Rock and Jason Aldean.
Although Kid Rock will return for this year’s run of shows, in November, event organizers announced that Aldean had been replaced by Nickelback.
Late last year, Ocala area singer Noah Hunton was named “Hometown Hero” for the event this Spring. Hunton won two VIP tickets, a backstage tour, and will have a chance to lead the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance.
