An 80-year-old Michigan man died after being struck by a vehicle Thursday morning in Pasco County.
Wayne Ouellette, 35, of Dade City was driving a 2001 Chevy TrailBlazer northbound on U.S. 301 just north of Crystal Springs Road, south of Zephyrhills, while John Albert Williams Jr., 80, of Napoleon, Michigan was walking southbound on the east shoulder of the roadway, according to a Florida Highway Patrol accident report. For unknown reasons, Ouellette departed the roadway and collided with Williams, the report stated.
Williams died at the scene of the crash.
