ANF Gyros and Grill is hoping that Ocala will mark the fourth successful franchise location in Florida since the company first opened its doors a decade ago in central Florida.
The restaurant, which has two locations in Orlando and one in Winter Haven, opened its Ocala location earlier this summer on SW 19th Avenue Road around the same time that Red Crab opened its doors down the street in the former Crispers.
The new location includes a drive-through and although the name might suggest differently, ANF Gyros and Grill features a variety of sandwiches, wings, and seafood, both friend and cajun/steamed.
The menu includes the classic gyro alongside hamburgers, chicken and fish sandwiches, as well as Cuban sandwiches and Philly steaks. Seafood options include oysters, shrimp, fish, and calamari.
For those looking for additional speciality dishes, the ANF Gyros and Grill offers gizzards, both fried and on salad, as well as cajun prepared crab clusters and shrimp. The restaurant also makes a variety of pre-made dessert options, including cheesecake, sweet potato pie, and carrot cake.
