Ocala Wetland Recharge Park officially opened its doors to the public on Monday, September 21

Construction will soon begin on a new open-air pavilion and three overlook covers at the Ocala Wetland Recharge Park.

The future pavilion will provide an event and education space at the Ocala Wetland Recharge Park, which is located at 2015 NW 21st Street in Ocala. In addition, the pavilion will include restrooms and drinking water fountains.

Throughout the construction of the pavilion, which is set to begin on Monday, August 28 and continue through mid-December, the park will remain open to visitors. According to the City of Ocala, some trail entrances and educational exhibits located near the construction area will be closed during this time.

The parking lot, public bathrooms, and drinking water fountains at the park will remain open. Visitors can find a map of open trails on the Ocala Wetland Recharge Park’s Facebook page and webpage, as well as at the information station located at the park.

There may be dust and noise around the construction area. The city states that all necessary actions will be taken to prevent disturbances to wildlife.
