A fatal crash in southwest Ocala shut down the eastbound lanes of SW Highway 200 on Wednesday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Highway 200, near the intersection of SW 80th Avenue.
No further details were provided regarding the number of individuals or vehicles involved in the accident.
Due to the crash, all eastbound lanes of SW Highway 200 have been closed near the 7900 block.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office encourages all motorists to find an alternate route and to obey all law enforcement officers who are directing traffic in the area.
