To the Editor:
The Marion County Jail needs to be shut down. They treat you like you’re an animal, talk to you any kind of way, the food is disgusting, and they have rats and mildew everywhere.
The living conditions are just inhumane.
If you take medication, that’s a whole different story. If you’re pregnant, you’re getting spoiled milk five times a day. If you say something about it, they don’t care.
You should treat people how you want to be treated. Respect is due to even a dog. This jail needs to be investigated. How about 60 Days In?
